• Pay Range: $56,256 - $99,865 Annually
• Addl Salary Info: Salary placement is depending on experience & education; masters/doctoral stipends available.

Job Summary Under the direction of the principal, the Intervention Teacher / TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) provides information and expertise to an assigned group of students in a specialized area in the K-12 school setting. Assist the administration in managing and administering school intervention programs in our Special Education Department.

This position is grant-funded for the 2026-27 school year; continuation is contingent on funding. This position is part of the Certificated Teacher Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience and education on the Certificated Teacher Unit Employee Salary schedule.

PLEASE NOTE: The 2026-27 Salary Schedule is pending. Salary is currently based on the 2025-26 Salary Schedule.

Comments and Other Information This position is temporary for the 2026-2027 school year only at this time to serve our Special Education Department for both District and County Services.

The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in Californias beautiful Central Foothills near Yosemite National Park. The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in Mariposa County and serves grades K-12. With approximately 1700 students, the area consists of several necessary small schools (K-8 schools) and one comprehensive high school.

Mariposa County has several rural communities that surround Yosemite National Park and are centrally located in California to provide a days drive to old-growth forests, deserts, coastal communities, and cities.
