Buses, Special Education, Teachers Help, Training/Teaching
TITLE:
- Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional
- 35 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fingerprint Card
- AA degree (or higher) or take and pass the Paraprofessional Examination.
REPORTS TO:
- School Principal and Special Education Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in academic instruction of assigned students, under the direction of the classroom teachers, to help meet the student’s academic needs.
- Assist classroom teachers with needs such as correcting papers, making copies, etc..
- Assist with supervision duties in lunch room, at buses, playground, etc..
- Assist with afternoon supervision on the bus
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Principal
