Job Description

Requirements Qualifications It is recommended that you attach a resume detailing all applicable experience. Applicants must meet requirements of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and Highly Qualified mandate. This includes meeting a rigorous standard of quality through a formal local assessment. Experience: Six months experience as a Paraeducator or any combination of experience and education involving work with children and utilizing the knowledge and abilities required of the class equal to six months. Drivers License: Copy Proof of HS Graduation or Equivalent: Requirements Qualifications It is recommended that you attach a resume detailing all applicable experience. MUST PASS THE DISTRICT WRITTEN EXAM. Applicants that pass the initial screening will be notified of the examination date. The written exam will cover English language usage, school and student safety, first aid, student interaction, and human relations.

This position is part of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) bargaining unit.

After a conditional offer of employment, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Must pass District physical examinations and drug/alcohol screening
  2. A current TB clearance
  3. Fingerprint clearance from the Dept. of Justice and the FBI
