    Description

    For the 2026-27 school year, we are seeking a full-time Oakfield Middle/High School Special Education paraeducator.

    The School District of Oakfield has been rated by the Department of Public Instruction as one of the best small schools in Wisconsin. The middle school and high school are housed in the same building with a 6-12 enrollment of 275 students. The middle and high school special education departments work closely together. This department includes two middle school teachers, a high school teacher, and three paraeducators. The special education team is very supportive of their students and each other.

    Candidates should demonstrate skills to support the academic and behavioral needs of special education students in grades six through twelve including:

    Working collaboratively with the special education teachers and classroom teachers to implement Individual Education Programs

    Following procedures and expectations established by the special education teachers to promote positive student behaviors

    Respecting confidentiality of students and families

    Maintaining a positive and flexible classroom environment

    Assisting students with personal cares

    Completing paperwork as required
