The city of Millbrae is a small suburban community situated in northern San Mateo County overlooking the San Francisco International Airport. MESD is a TK-8 district, operating five neighborhood schools: Green Hills Elementary, Lomita Park Elementary, Meadows Elementary, Spring Valley Elementary, and Taylor Middle School. All our schools have an active PTA/PTO supporting school-based programs. Our Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a parent-led organization providing support for music, physical education and STEAM education for all five of our schools. Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in caring for and reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom or other learning environment; assist students with performing academic tasks, daily living/life skills, behavior management and special health care activities as assigned by classroom teachers or administrators. TRAINING IS PROVIDED.
