Special Education Paraprofessional

Ro Health is hiring passionate Behavioral Health Paraprofessionals and Behavioral Health Class Aides to join our Arizona Behavioral Team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated, adaptable providers who are comfortable supporting students across the entire educational spectrum—from Early Childhood/Elementary through Middle School, High School, and Transition Programs. In these roles, you will support students with varying levels of behavioral needs, including those who may exhibit aggressive or maladaptive behaviors, helping them navigate daily academics, behavioral intervention plans, and social-emotional development.

What You’ll Need:

• Behavior Management Experience: Minimum 6+ months of hands-on experience managing challenging, aggressive, or maladaptive behaviors in K–12, ABA, or care settings (required).
• Grade-Level Versatility: Comfort and willingness to support students across Pre-K–12th grade, including high school and young adult learners (18+) when assigned.
• Associate’s Degree or 60+ cumulative college-level courses (If you do not meet our education requirement, we will support you with obtaining necessary certifications).
• Previous experience in school, ABA, camp, residential, or care settings (preferred).
• Ability to pass state/federal background checks, drug screening, and IVP fingerprinting.
• Reliable, compassionate, physically active, and team-oriented mindset.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide classroom, small-group, or 1:1 behavioral and educational support to students with or without IEPs across Pre-K–12th grade and transition-age programs (18+).
• Implement proactive behavior redirection, crisis de-escalation, and coping strategies for students displaying maladaptive, resistant, or aggressive behaviors.
• Assist with instructional activities, daily classroom routines, social-emotional development, and vocational/life-skills training depending on grade assignment.
• Support students with special education needs under the guidance of certified special education teachers and BCBAs.
• Foster a safe, structured, and respectful learning environment for learners of all ages.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school administrators, and your dedicated Ro Health supervisors.
