The Holy Hill Area School District is located 30 minutes Northwest of Milwaukee. The district consists of Friess Lake Elementary School and Richfield Middle School. The total enrollment for the district is approximately 500 students between the schools. Richfield Middle School consists of approximately 214 students in grades 5th-8th.

Position Overview:
The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking a dedicated, compassionate full-time Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a middle school student with special needs. Working under the direct guidance of the Special Education Teacher and Director of Pupil Services, the ideal candidate will support this student within regular education classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings.

Key Responsibilities
Instructional & IEP Support:
- Follow and implement the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals under teacher guidance.
- Support the student within the regular education classroom and deliver specially designed instruction.
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers to implement necessary accommodations and environment support.
- Assist related service providers (therapists) to ensure cohesive care across all school settings.
Student Care & Assistive Technology:
- Learn and utilize Assistive Technology, specifically augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
- Provide health and personal care assistance, including toileting support as needed.
- Provide active supervision during lunchroom periods to prevent choking hazards and ensure student safety.
Student Engagement & Development:
- Foster positive, encouraging relationships that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Uphold a consistent commitment to student safety, dignity, and independence.
Professional Expectations:
- Communicate effectively with students, classroom teachers, colleagues, administration, and families.
- Participate in required school and district professional development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.

- Experience: Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities-including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional Behavioral Disability (EBD), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Intellectual Disability (ID), and Orthopedic Impairment-is preferred.
Position Requirements
- Experience: 0+ years (entry-level applicants welcome).
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree accepted. The district offers highly qualified paraprofessional training for applicants not possessing a degree.
- Licensure: Wisconsin DPI Special Education Paraprofessional License.
Note: The district will fully fund and support the initial license application process if the selected candidate does not currently hold one.
