Special Education Paraprofessional - SEBS Program

SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL SEBS Program (Social Emotional Behavioral) Coburn Elementary School

Duties:

• Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning
• Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students
• Participate in inservice training programs, as assigned
• Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher
• Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher''s philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction
• Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or 48 college credits or Workkeys certification completed
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Such alternatives found to be appropriate
• Certification in First Aid Certification and CPR preferred

Work Schedule: Full Time: thirty (30) hours per week.

Salary: per Unit D contract (salary range: $18.67/hr - $23.96/hr)
