The School District of Wausaukee is seeking to employ a Special Education Paraprofessional (30 hours per week), Monday-Friday, (while school is in session) including up to three professional development inservice days for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.

Exceptional Communication: Articulate verbally and in writing to provide academic support and foster strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
Collaborative Problem-Solver: Effectively identify challenges, implement solutions, and work constructively with diverse individuals, demonstrating initiative and following guidelines when using data.
Flexible & Supportive: Prepared to work with students at various grade levels (elementary and/or secondary), offer academic assistance, and handle physical duties such as lifting (up to 30 lbs. individually, 50+ lbs. with assistance) and assisting with personal care needs like diaper changing.
Dependable & Trustworthy: Possess excellent driving ability for potential student transportation and uphold a high standard of confidentiality.
Foundational Skills: Solid foundational skills in reading comprehension and basic mathematics.
Overall, the individual will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including enthusiasm, commitment, imagination and energy for the position.
