Winneconne Community School District seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to provide direct assistance and support to the special education classroom teacher to meet the individual needs of the students. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff and students.
Performance Objectives:
• Provide small group and/or individual instruction as directed by the classroom teacher. • Monitor and record behavior of students on a regular basis, as assigned. • Prepare instructional materials, as assigned. • Supervise students at recess, in the cafeteria, and/or between classes. • Assist with loading and unloading of students on/from buses/vehicles, as assigned. • Assist in feeding students, as necessary. • Assist students with bathroom needs as necessary. • Utilize NCVI strategies as needed/when necessary. • Perform other duties as assigned.
