- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and school staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and professional attendance
- Ability to follow classroom and student support plans
- Must be willing to submit to any required background checks or screenings
- Must complete required training courses prior to being able to be considered (Call our office today and ask for our Education Coordinator for more details.)
Special Education Paraprofessional Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in supporting students with special needs
- Help students with classroom activities and daily routines
- Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance as directed by school staff
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social development goals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Pay and Schedule
- Starting pay: $100.00 per day
- Paid weekly
- Flexible scheduling with the ability to choose when you work
