The Toms River Regional Board of Education has an anticipated opening for the following position effective with the 2026-2027 school year:
Special Education - Preschool Disabled
Qualifications:
- The teacher shall hold an appropriate teaching certificate issued by the State Board of Education in P-3 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities OR Teacher of the Handicapped
Classroom Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement classroom behavior and management strategies for children with disabilities
- Experience with developing classroom goals and objectives in conjunction with district curriculum
- Develop and implement a variety of teaching styles and techniques to ensure a positive and instructional atmosphere for all students.
- 2 years experience in similar position preferred
