Hours based on route (4-hour minimum)
Qualifications:
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work well with others
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experiences with physically and mentally challenged persons.
- Ability to document safety issues and incidents.
- CDL with P and S endorsements recommended, but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the boarding and de-boarding of students.
- Attend to the needs of students based on their IEP.
- Assist the driver by maintaining student discipline as approved by the Transportation Director.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with bus driver.
- Demonstrate knowledge of rules and regulations promulgated by local, state, and federal agencies.
- Be alert and exercise good judgment concerning emergencies and day-to-day operations.
- Keep accurate records and reports as required, submit in a legible condition, and turn in at the specified time.
- Conduct yourself as a professional Transportation staff member at all times.
- Secure all equipment that is required for each passenger.
- Be able to lift, store, and disassemble/assemble equipment required by the passenger.
Salary & Benefits:As per the FRESPA contract, starting rate 2025-2026 is $16.03/hourPosting Deadline:Until filled.
