Special Education/Social Studies Teacher

Northland Pines School District is looking for a Social Studies/Special Education Teacher to join our team at SOAR High School. SOAR High School is a project-based high school within the Northland Pines School District. The successful candidate will have a collaborative mindset, with a strong commitment to the success and growth of all students. This position will join a high-performing, veteran staff at SOAR HS. The school is nestled in the City of Eagle River with a school forest, hiking trails, and various other outdoor recreation activities nearby.

Qualifications

Preferred:

High School Social Studies Licensure OR Ability to obtain licensure

Cross-Categorical Special Education licensure OR ability to obtain licensure

Demonstrated success of professional collaboration in a Professional Learning Community

Ability to establish strong connections and supportive relationships with students and staff.

Flexible nature, and willingness and ability to support a wide variety of classroom needs.

Strong communication skills with students and adults.
