Description
TES Staffing in partner with K-12 school districts are looking for substitute special education teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year! This position is on the West side of Rochester and may require floating to various school districts such as Greece, Spencerport, Brockport, and more, providing support to their special education students.
What You'll Do:
Review and implement students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans to ensure consistency and compliance.
Deliver instructional activities aligned with established substitute plans and student goals.
Provide structured classroom management tailored to diverse behavioral and learning needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes engagement and growth.
Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff to support student success.
Come prepared with age-appropriate instructional activities to maintain learning momentum if plans are unavailable.
Perform other related duties as assigned by school building administrators.

Pay: $145-160 per day, depending on NYS Certification
Qualifications:
Must obtain, purchase, and pass background check through NYSED
Able to perform physical job duties that include walking, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Strong organizational and communication skills
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
NOTE: You may be asked to travel to different schools and facilities on the west side
HS diploma plus 1 year of related childcare/teaching experience
