The Neshaminy School District is seeking candidates for the position of Special Education Supervisor. It is anticipated that this position would primarily support the elementary level.
This is a full-time, ongoing position that is on a 12-month schedule. Compensation and Benefits consistent with the NSDAA Act 93 Agreement.
General Scope of Responsibilities -
The Special Education Supervisor reports to the Director of Pupil Services. Essential duties and responsibilities include monitoring special education programs, offering assistance to teachers and sharing information and concerns with administrators, and the preparation/analyzation of data to evaluate program effectiveness. The Supervisor is expected to attend and provide leadership at student-related meetings, MDT meetings, IEP team meetings, Manifestation Determination meetings, parent conferences, parent support meetings, and other meetings as required. Expectations also include assistance to staff in the development of IEPs.
