Special Education Teacher, 1.0 FTE, OHS

Oregon High School is seeking a special education teacher to serve students in grades 9-12.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

• Co-teaching
• Development and Implementation of IEPs
• Evaluation and Assessment
• Inclusionary Practices
• Problem Solving
• Data-Based Decision Making
• Collaborative Partnerships
• Relationship Building with Staff, Students and Families

The successful applicant will work with a team of special educators, general education content teachers, paras and providers of related services. Teamwork and collaboration are essential characteristics in this role.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in working as part of a PLC to create equitable access to learning at all levels. This position requires both skills in case management, delivery of SDI and co-teaching.
