Furnace Brook Middle School

STARTING DATE:

September 2025 (teachers begin Tuesday, September 1, 2026)

SALARY:

Teacher Salary Schedule (FY26 rates; pending contract negotiations)

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:

Reports directly to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's preferred;
• MA DESE License: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8 or 5-12);
• Ability to relate well with middle school students and collaborate with teachers and support staff effectively.
