Job Requirements.

  • EducationRequirements: Certified Special Education Teacher
  • CertificationsRequirements: Certified Special Education Teacher
  • ExperienceRequirements: 1 year minimum; experience with Elementary and High School students, caseloads including OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Language Impairment
  • OtherRequirements: Ability to serve about 10-15 students on caseload, primarily inside general education setting; strong communication and adaptive skills; background check required

JobResponsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in various settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community activities as required.
