Location: Salem, New Hampshire
Contract Duration: 36 weeks

Job Requirements.
  • EducationRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (or equivalent as required by state guidelines) & completion of an approved educator preparation program.
  • CertificationsRequirements: Valid teaching certification/license for Special Education (or appropriate special education endorsement) in accordance with New Hampshire requirements; must maintain all required credentials for the duration of the assignment.
  • ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting (IEP/behavior supports preferred); experience implementing SPED services and supporting student learning goals.
  • OtherRequirements: Standard Requirements, day shift (37.5 hours/week), school setting; strong collaboration with general education staff, families/caregivers, and IEP teams; ability to support classroom management, data collection, and individualized instruction; reliable attendance and professional communication; may require background check and onboarding compliance prior to start (as required by the facility/district). JobResponsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction and support for students with disabilities in a school-based setting aligned to IEP goals and accommodations.
  • Plan, implement, and differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs; utilize evidence-based strategies to improve academic and functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the IEP team, general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress and communication.
  • Track and document student progress, maintain required records, and contribute to IEP meetings and updates as needed.
  • Support classroom management and student behavior using positive, consistent strategies; maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
