    Special Education Teacher (8:1:2 setting)

    Preferred Experience:

    • A proven record of working with students with Autism and significant communication disorders and developmental disabilities in a middle school setting;

    • Leadership qualities to collaborate with a team of support staff to establish expectations for student success;

    • Experience working with students with Autism is required;

    • Experience running the Direct Instruction Curriculum preferred.

    Appointment Type: Probationary Track

    Required NYS Certification(s): Special Education

    Effective: 9/1/2026

    Salary: Based on experience / TAT Contract

    (Must attend New Teacher Orientation Meetings, August 20th, 21st, 24th & 25th & Superintendent's Conference Days, August 31 st & September 1 st)
