Position Details:

Responsibilities:

\n

• \n
• Provide specialized instruction and learning support aligned to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• \n
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs, including goals, accommodations/modifications, service minutes, and progress monitoring.
• \n
• Deliver instruction in a variety of settings as needed (e.g., inclusion, resource, or self-contained), based on student needs.
• \n
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school support staff to ensure students can access the curriculum.
• \n
• Use data to track progress, adjust instruction, and document growth toward IEP goals.
• \n
• Support positive behavior and social-emotional development using student-centered and trauma-informed practices.
• \n
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education timelines and state/federal requirements.
• \n
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent/guardian communication, and multidisciplinary team planning.
• \n

Qualifications:

• \n
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education (or related field).
• \n
• Active New Hampshire special education licensure/certification (or eligibility to obtain).
• \n
• Knowledge of special education laws and compliance requirements (IDEA/IEP processes).
• \n
• Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• \n
• School-based experience preferred (but not required, depending on the role).
• \n
