Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) that is certified in the state of practice to work in a school setting. This is a contract, part time position.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Colorado Special Education Generalist certification
• (Preferred) At least two years of teaching experience, ideally in a competency-based, Big Picture Learning, Deeper Learning, project-based, or other similar environment
• Fingerprint background check clearance; current eligibility to work in the U.S.

Additional Notes:

2 days/week of a MWF schedule (Examples: MW or MF or WF)

Caseload = 4-6 students

Grades 9-12

Self contained - mostly 1:1 support of students, with a few small group sessions
