Special Education Teacher (8th grade Inclusion)

The Role: We are seeking a special educator at Birchland Park Middle School in an 8th grade Inclusion setting. Applicants should possess special education licensure for grades 6-8 and should be prepared to support inclusion students in the mainstream classrooms. The position provides direct instruction to special education students, co-teaches in inclusion classrooms, implements IEPs, and works with parents and other stakeholders in team meetings. Applicants should also be positive, student-centered, and excited to uplift and educate middle school students. We are a middle school focused on giving students exactly what they need, staying together in the midst of the daily challenges, and making sure students smile while they learn!
