Special Education Teacher

The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking a dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities -Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations -Provide direct instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs -Differentiate instruction and utilize evidence-based strategies to support student achievement -Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to ensure student success -Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports -Utilize educational technology and assistive technology to support learning and engagement -Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment -Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities -Support students' social-emotional and behavioral growth in alignment with district expectations
