The Special Education Teacher supports our students by delivering high-quality educational or related services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in ARD/IEP processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Deliver specialized instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior.
• Monitor student progress.
• Participate in ARD meetings.
• Collaborate with related service providers.
• Maintain documentation.
• Differentiate instruction.
• Communicate with families.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Certifications

Bachelor's degree with valid Texas Special Education certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Texas SPED certification.
• School-based experience.
• Knowledge of inclusion practices.
