Position Title: Special Education Teacher (Moderate/Severe) Location: Phoenix, AZ 85033 Grade Level: Middle School (7th & 8th Grade) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM Contract Length: 43 Weeks Training Start Date: July 21, 2025 Pay Rate: $75/hour Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher with certification in Moderate/Severe Disabilities to provide specialized instruction to middle school students. The teacher will work collaboratively to support students' academic, behavioral, and social development in an inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education staff and support personnel to promote student success.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance.
Apply effective behavioral strategies to support student needs.
Communicate regularly with families and educational teams.
Attend mandatory training starting July 21, 2025.
Requirements:
Valid Arizona Moderate/Severe Special Education Certification (required).
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred.
Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
