Are you a Special Education teacher that truly wants to have an impact on students? Do you want to work with students in small groups and one-on-one settings? Provided optimal conditions, can you help your students grow in math, reading, and writing? If so, the Barneveld School District is seeking a dynamic full-time Special Education teacher. Barneveld "exceeds expectations" on the Wisconsin School report card.
The candidate will work mainly with middle and elementary school students, focusing primarily on scaffolding classroom supports, small group work, and direct instruction. The candidate should be a team player and willing to collaborate with regular education teachers. The candidate provides oversight and support to paraprofessionals working under their guidance. The ideal candidate should possess a Cross-Categorical Special Education (1801) license. Candidates should have an understanding of Special Education laws and IEP components with strong communication skills.
