JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide direct instructional support to students in both inclusive, general education settings and small-group instructional environments. Design, implement, and support instructional strategies and curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, while adapting instruction to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and other specialists to identify student needs, establish learning goals, and develop effective practices that promote student growth and achievement. Manage a caseload of students, including monitoring and reporting progress, developing and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and communicating regularly with parents/guardians and team members. Participate in school-based professional development, meetings, and initiatives that support student success and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services and/or Principal
QUALIFICATIONS: Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (Grades 5-12) or eligibility for licensure. Ability to collaborate effectively with academic teachers, vocational instructors, and related service providers to support student access to academic and vocational programming.
