Special Education Teacher

Bachelors Degree with appropriate licensure

Planning and Preparing a curriculum based on Indiana academic standards delivering instruction grading students appropriately and preparing students for required testing.

This job requires clear communication between the students, administration, and parents/guardians.

CMS Teachers work with each other in collaborating at both the grade level and by subject area.

Managing a caseload of students for which they coordinate services including:

• Communicating with families • Staff members • Other personnel working within the special education team • Helping families navigate services

Timely communicate with others and be comfortable with documentation required by the state and the school corporation.
