Job Requirements

Education Requirements:
NJ DOE Instructional License in Students with Disabilities

Certifications Requirements:
Active NJ DOE Instructional License for Special Education

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience with elementary or middle school populations, specifically K-4 or K-8.

Other Requirements:
Must have experience working with elementary or middle school populations, particularly in special education settings. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with K-4 or K-8 students, possess soft skills such as patience and flexibility, and be prepared for on-site interviews that include a demo lesson. Must have recent experience and be able to work full time (7:10 AM - 3:30 PM).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to elementary or middle school students with disabilities, adhering to IEPs and educational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement tailored teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to ensure academic and social success.
