    Pay Range - $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year

    Job Description

     

    • Working with a classroom of 7 up to 18 students
    • Preparing and implementing large and small group plans that are age-appropriate and meet the IEP goals for each child
    • Differentiating instruction across a variety of developmental strengths, needs and diagnoses, as specified on the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
    • Administering standardized tests and writing comprehensive reports that are individualized per student strengths and needs
    • Presenting information at Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meetings
    • The ability to work collaboratively with classroom staff and a team of professionals
    • Communicating clearly and concisely with families, classroom staff, professional colleagues and personnel from other agencies.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: New York State Certification in Special Education (Student with Disabilities Birth to 2nd Grade) is required. Graduates on an active Teacher Certification path will be considered. Experience working in a preschool setting is preferred.

     

    Experience:

    • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Special education: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • Teaching Certification (Preferred)
    • Special Education Certification (Preferred)

     

     

    Schedule:

    • Day shift
    • In-person
    • Monday to Friday

     

    Reliable commute or planning to relocate is required before starting work
