    Job Summary

    Job Summary

    This position includes a 60% assignment conducting special education assessments for students attending nonpublic and private schools, working closely with the District School Psychologist. The remaining 40% of the assignment is at Manhattan Beach Middle School, providing direct services and supporting the implementation of students IEPs. Candidates should demonstrate strong assessment, collaboration, and communication skills and a commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university. Possession of a valid Education Specialist Instruction credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Education Specialist Bridge Mild to Moderate Support Needs with an English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is required.
