Position Details
Clarenceville School District is a small, tight-knit PK-12 district serving roughly 1,650 students across four buildings in Livonia, Michigan - an Oakland County district uniquely situated within Wayne County, giving educators the intimacy of a small district with the resources of a well-supported one. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 15:1, ranked below the state average, and a mission built on the belief that "All Means All," Clarenceville is one of the most diverse districts in the state (ranked #11 in Michigan by Niche) and invests directly in student support - including a social worker in every building and district-wide behavior support teams. Backed by a community that renewed its operating millage and approved a $29.25 million facilities bond in November 2025, Clarenceville offers genuine job stability alongside a culture where teachers work directly with building and district leadership, not layers of bureaucracy.
We offer competitive compensation, MESSA health coverage, and the Michigan Public School Employees' Retirement System (MPSERS), a mentor program pairing new teachers with experienced colleagues, ongoing professional development, and support for advancing your credentials - all in a community rated among metro Detroit's safest and most family-friendly, with easy access to Detroit, Ann Arbor, and the surrounding region. If you want to be part of a district where every teacher is known by name and every student's success is a shared mission, we'd love to talk with you.
