Job Description
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7-hour shifts | 35 hours per week
Shift: Day
- The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities, helping students achieve the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans and IEP goals.
- Monitor, document, and report student progress.
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain required student records and documentation.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable special education requirements.

Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin DPI Special Education teaching license appropriate to assignment
Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards.
