Function: We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Special Education Teacher to serve learners ages 12–21. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, individualized instruction and creating a supportive learning environment where every student can succeed.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to students' IEP goals.
Co-teach with general education teachers or independently lead a special education classroom, depending on program needs.
Develop and implement differentiated lessons and instructional strategies.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education or a related field.
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
Supervisory Endorsement (required).
Experience working with diverse learners and students with varying academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
