Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher for a 39-week contract in Frankfort, Indiana. This role delivers tailored instruction to special education students, supports IEP implementation, and collaborates with school staff. Compensation up to $50 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual student needs in resource and behavior classrooms.

• Implement and monitor IEP goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with classroom staff, administrators, and families to support student success and behavioral development.

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and classroom activities.

• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to foster a positive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working with special education students

• Knowledge of behavior management

• Ability to work with elementary and middle school students

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to adapt to various classroom needs

• Background check required
