You will work closely with students, parents, and fellow educators to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing specialized instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to ensure that students with disabilities are fully included in the general education curriculum.Conducting assessments and progress monitoring to track student growth and inform instructional planning.Providing ongoing communication and support to parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and educational goals.Participating in the IEP team process, including attending meetings, writing IEPs, and coordinating services for students with disabilities.Creating a positive and supportive classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging and self-confidence among students with disabilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.Valid Georgia teaching certification in Special Education.Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, equity, and respect for all students.If you are passionate about special education and ready to make a positive impact in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply.Join us in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can succeed and thrive.
