Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher
to provide support services for students on IEPs within the general education setting, as well as in small group settings.
Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, conducting, analyzing, and interpreting academic assessments, facilitating TEAM meetings, have strong communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
Preference to candidates with training and experience working with students with behavioral/social/emotional needs at the secondary level.
Preference to candidates with training and experience in Safety-Care or an equivalent trauma-informed crisis prevention and de-escalation training program.
Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Certification
Ideally, a Master''s plus 3 years of experience
