Redmond High School is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for positions in a Transition Room setting for the 2026- 2027 school year. This is a 1.0 FTE position and building administrators will contact you if you are selected for an interview.
The transition center program supports students that demonstrate cognitive impairments and adaptive behavior delays. The program provides academic, vocational and behavioral support to students within a special education classroom and through support to general education teachers.
Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Salary: Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
