Special Education Teacher in Eagle, CO

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-recognized Special Education Teacher credential or licensure
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development and special education best practices
• Previous experience working with PreK or early elementary caseloads, preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction and interventions for students with a range of disabilities
• Skilled in managing IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and intervention to a caseload of 10–20 PreK students, ensuring individualized education plans are consistently implemented
• Work closely with families, specialists, and classroom staff to develop and monitor student goals
• Adapt classroom materials and teaching methods based on each child’s unique needs
• Foster an engaging, differentiated, and supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and learning
• Travel to multiple sites within the area according to your expertise and student placements
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all special education regulations
