Ready to make a difference in student lives every day? Cross Country Education is looking for 3 compassionate Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school team serving students with diverse learning needs in Easton, Maryland for the 2026-2027 school year!
Position Overview:
- Provide academic and behavioral support primarily within the general education setting for elementary and high school students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and classroom strategies tailored to a caseload of 10–15 students.
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse needs, including OHI, Learning Disabilities, and Autism.
- Partner with general education teachers, families, and school staff to ensure student progress and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Maryland State Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education
- Experience managing a diverse caseload across different age groups and disability categories, with a strong emphasis on providing services within inclusive classroom settings (Preferred)
