Are you passionate about helping every student reach their full potential? Cross Country Education is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to provide individualized instruction and support that empowers students to thrive during the 2026–2027 school year in the Tempe, AZ area.
 
Position Overview:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support that aligns with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess student progress, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor educational outcomes through ongoing evaluation and collaboration.
  • Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment utilizing appropriate behavior management strategies.
  • Partner with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR/First Aid certification and Crisis Intervention training
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
