Special Education Teacher

This position is a Kingston Special Education Teacher which is located at Kingston Elementary School a K-2 school.

This special education teaching position is working with students who have documented disabilities and require specially designed instruction.

This candidate:

• will be responsible for evaluating students, writing IEPs and Progress Reports and attending IEP Meetings.
• will work with students on academic, social and behavioral skills and support them in a sub separated classroom as well as the inclusion setting.
• should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• will collaborate with other staff members and take part in professional development.
• should be licensed to teach special education by DESE.

This is a full time, benefits eligible position through the Town of Kingston. Salary is commensurate with education and esperience as defined by the KTA CBA.
