Organization Information Knott County School through intentional, effective collaboration among students, faculty, staff, and community, the Knott County School District accepts responsibility in ensuring a high quality education that allows and provides opportunity for all students to demonstrate proficiency and continue as lifelong learners. The Knott County System is comprised of one K-12 school, five K-8 schools, and one 9-12 school. The curriculum offered in the district has been aligned with the Kentucky Educational Acts goals and the Kentucky Core Content requirements. The district employs approximately 400 employees.
