Special Education Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)

Special Education Teacher (Long-Term Substitute) Anticipated Dates: October 21, 2026 - February 3, 2027

Responsibilities include:

• Teach small group and co-teach inclusion courses
• Serve as the special education liaison for an assigned caseload of students
• Participate in, and at times, chair, team meetings
• Write and amend IEPs as necessary
• Attend planning meetings as assigned
• Maintain student confidentiality
• Teach students needing social and emotional support
• Collaborate with support staff such as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker, School Psychologist, Teachers, and Paraprofessionals
