Special Education Teacher - Long-Term Substitute

The Sandwich Middle High School is looking for a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher beginning Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and ending on Friday, January 8, 2027.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

Provide individual, small group and group instruction that will support the maintenance skills in the areas of reading, math and written expression.

QUALITIES / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Valid MA DESE certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Special Education laws and procedures.
• Experience working with students with moderate special needs preferred.
• Experience working with students at middle and high school levels.
• Patience and a sense of humor

COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the Sandwich Schools website.
