• Itinerant Special Education Teacher serving elementary students

• Full Time, 35 hours per week

• Starting September 2026 for the entire 2026–2027 school year
   

About the Role

Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Longmont, CO. In this itinerant role, you’ll provide specialized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with school teams to support student success. You’ll partner with educators, specialists, and families to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation

• Help create inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environments
   

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• School-based experience preferred, not required
