Special Education Teacher (M/M)

Conecta Education is currently hiring the a Special Education Teacher in the greater Solano County area: 

Schedule & Benefits: 

• Full time 
• August 2026 to June 2027
• 5 days per week, Mon-Fri
• 35 hours per week, 8:00 to 3:30 p.m.
• Must have a mild/mod
• Elementary or middle school age students
• Pay starts at $73 an hour!

Job Description: 

• Deliver instruction to students with IEPs, adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
• Implement and monitor IEP goals and objectives.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring; maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to provide coordinated support.
• Supervise and work with paraprofessionals, behavioral aides and any other support staff in the classroom. 
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student performance and progress.
• Support positive behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies.
• Utilize assistive technology and other resources to enhance student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Attend professional development, staff meetings, and trainings as required.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (IDEA, FERPA).
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (mild/moderate credential)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices (IDEA, Section 504, IEP process).
• Experience designing and implementing differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills.
