Description
Conecta Education is currently hiring the a Special Education Teacher (M/S) in the greater Solano County Area:
Schedule & Benefits:
Full time
August 2026 to June 2027
5 days per week, Mon-Fri
35 hours per week, 8:00 to 3:30 p.m., 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
Must have a mild/mod
Elementary or middle school age students
Pay starts at $73 an hour!

Job Description:
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Provide direct instruction in academic, social, communication, and life skills.
Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring; adjust instruction accordingly.
Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to support inclusion and overall student success.
Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and comply with all state and district regulations.
Supervise paraprofessionals and support staff as needed.
Support positive behavioral interventions and implement Individual Behavior Plans when applicable.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid California Single Subject or Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) teaching credential.
Knowledge of state curriculum standards, IEP development, and special education laws (IDEA, Section 504, ADA).
